Our Story

Our journey began in September 2023 at Hampton Inn & Suites in Dartmouth, where Hom worked. At the Christmas party that December, fueled by courage (and a little too much to drink), Hom asked Suzanne out — and that night changed everything.

Soon she was spending many nights at his small room in Patch Life, and before long they decided to tell her mom — while shopping at Costco! Hom first met her parents around Easter 2024, and in August 2024 they moved in together.

On June 13, 2025, Hom proposed to Suzanne at Crystal Crescent Beach in Halifax, sealing their love story where the waves meet the shore.
